On Friday, May 29, 2020, our panel discussed the challenges faced by Native American communities with regard to their participation in local, state and federal elections.  These challenges are exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic.

As we enter the final months before the November 2020 elections, this roundtable explored the continued barriers to Native American participation, including those posed by the pandemic, as well as key policy recommendations for promoting and protecting the electoral rights of Native Americans.

Please share your thoughts in the discussion.

Our guests included:

- Kim Wyman, Washington Secretary of State
- Ruth Anna Buffalo, North Dakota House of Representatives District 27
- Natalie Landreth, Native American Rights Fund
- Tammy Patrick, Democracy Fund
