Gender equality is not an ideal but a necessity that local and regional women elected officials are committed to defending and promoting for the benefit of democracies and societies everywhere.
This call to action asks local and regional leaders to be fully committed to lead change regarding women's leadership from the bottom up. In it, they write 10 steps forward for local, regional, national, and international institutions to take in order to amplify women's voices of all generations.
